Mark Steyn on the Tory Party

People have probably noticed that I am right-wing (no kidding!). One of my difficulties in the UK is that there is simply no party that represents anything like the positions I hold. This article by Mark Steyn for the Daily Telegraph (NB: Often called the Torygraph because of its political loyalties) basically describes the problem neatly.

Basically, I'm for low taxes, small-government, personal responsibility, and an implacable opposition to terrorists.

I think it's a sad state of affairs when no UK political party has a place for someone like me. Of course, I am supremely biased about that ;)
